David Eilander is a member of the Eilander family. He is the youngest child of Caroline and Nicholas.
Rusty Lake Paradise[]
David is the first person to welcome Jakob, his older brother, back to the island of Paradise in 1796. He is fishing for shrimp by the edge of the island, despite the bloody condition of the water. He is not at all helpful with Jakob's attempts to fix the island's curses; he prevents him from retrieving a frog during the Second Plague, and during the Third Plague he complains about having low blood sugar, making Jakob bring him a meal of sugary foods. This causes him to become swarmed by gnats, transforming him into a giant larva.
He himself becomes the Fourth Plague, emerging from his pupa as a human/fly hybrid, flying around the island as the rest of the family hide in fear. He attacks and drinks the blood of several small animals with his proboscis before finally using it on his father, stabbing him through the head.
At some point between this and the Seventh Plague, David falls beneath the water of Rusty Lake and freezes in a block of ice, though no longer as a hybrid. He returns to the family as normal, playing music with his father and uncle while the island is shrouded in fog for the Eighth Plague.
When the family gathers around a bonfire at the Ninth Plague, David joins in making animals impressions, performing a fish and a bird. He later gathers at the wicker owl when Jakob is sacrificed for the final plague, wearing the mask of a rabbit.
Cube Escape: Paradox[]
While Dale is in the Paradox Room in 1972, he enters his past mind and is taken back to his childhood birthday where his parents ask him to call the magician, D. Eilander. Calling the number, Mr. Eilander mentions that he has already arrived and is standing outside the front door. He is seen through the keyhole wearing a white rabbit mask, lunging closer when he sees Dale looking back at him. He makes it into the house, and hides himself around the room until he finally hides in the birthday present. When the present is opened, he pops out and shoots Dale's parents by using his hands as guns before disappearing.
