The Paradox Room is the main setting in the game Cube Escape: Paradox. It appeared to be located beneath Rusty Lake, though it also appears to not be a physical place at all, existing instead outside the normal confines of time. Mr. Owl and Mr. Crow both describe it as a place of relaxation, to empty the mind.
Cube Escape: Paradox[]
The interior section of the room first appears in the first chapter Cube Escape: Paradox when Dale Vandermeer wakes up on the couch with faint memories having been there before. In this chapter the room contains a television set, a globe, a chaise lounge and various sets of drawers and cabinets in addition to the decorations adorning each wall. A red handled door leads to The Forest, though it is locked.
In the second chapter, Dale once again awakens in the room with vague memories of having been there before. The layout of the room is much the same, though the chaise lounge is replaced by two armchairs and a table.
The wallpaper in both chapters is green. As Dale replaces his mind and changes the room between its Past, Present, Future and regular versions, the wallpaper changes colour to Red, Grey, Yellow, and back to Green respectively.
