The Samsara Room is the location of the game of the same name.

SamsaraRoom Samsara Room[]

There are four walls within this room, two plain and two with a floral wallpaper pattern; a large mirror also hangs on one of these walls. One of the plain walls houses a window, which seemingly looks out over Rusty Lake. This view can be cut away with a knife to reveal a mechanical portal. By going through the portal, the player will see the room from the outside, as a cube. The room can then be reentered.

The room, as well as the player character, will appear differently depending on which object is placed on the large section of the portal area before the player travels. With a heart, the room is normal; as a fish, the room is filled with water. As a gecko, the room is upside-down, with the player standing on the ceiling. As a worm, the player is at eye-level with the carpet, and as a bird, there are no visible walls in the room.

In all instances, the room contains a Grandfather Clock, Telephone, cabinet and chest of drawers, though the different settings will change these objects in some way. Some additional objects are only available when the room is in a particular form.

Trivia Trivia[]

  • In the original version of Samsara Room, some of the furniture and decorations were different. The two plain-coloured walls were instead one striped and one green, while the ritual section needed to use the portal was on the floor, and required five objects instead of four. This version of the room was not connected to the main Rusty Lake series, and is therefore non-canon.
  • The Samsara Room may have been the motivation for the Room in Cube Escape: Seasons.
