The Vials are a set of three bottles that each yield a different result when drank from.
Cube Escape: Paradox[]
Dale wakes in the Paradox Room, and finds three cubes needed to unlock a cabinet. Inside is the red vial, and after drinking it he spits out the key to the door. He walks through the Forest until he comes upon Laura and witnesses her death. She disappears leaving a black cube, and when Dale looks inside the cube he sees himself back in the room.
After waking up in the Paradox Room again, he meets Mr. Owl who tells him to face his Corrupted Soul. He is given the three cubes to open the locked cabinet, and takes the blue vial. Drinking it turns him into a Corrupted Soul. He walks through the Forest and sneaks up on Laura. He slits her throat, once again finding himself stuck in the room in the black cube.
There is a combination-locked cabinet opened by a secret code. Dale takes the green vial and drinks it, causing him to go unconscious. He experiences a vision of him trying to reach Laura. He learns that he cannot save her unless he sacrifices himself, so he jumps off of a cliff and dies. Laura is then seen standing in the Lake, her black cube turned white.
Trivia[]
- In the chapter 1, there is a flyer for Rusty Lake Mental Health and Fishing. Dale had written on it to warn himself not to drink the blue vial. In chapter 2, however, Dale had written on it to warn himself not to drink the red vial.
